Our Doctor


Dawn S. Miles, DPM

Dr. Miles received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 1990 from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. She attended medical school in San Francisco, California at the California College of Podiatric Medicine. After graduating with honors, she completed a two year surgical residency at Florida Medical Center South in Plantation, Florida. In 1997 she was awarded an International Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery in Rome, Italy.

Dr. Miles is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, a Diplomate of the American Board of Wound Management, and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She has hospital affiliations with Putnam Community Medical Center and Flagler Hospital where she has been on staff since 1997. She is the only double Board-Certified Podiatric Physician on staff. Dr. Miles has served both hospitals and communities through a variety of organizations and activities including serving two terms on the Board of Putnam Community Medical Center. She has served on numerous hospital committees including the clinical quality committee, bylaws committee, and the medical executive committee. Dr. Miles served for many years on the Board of the Rotary Club of Palatka where she was an active member for eight years. She is also serving her profession through membership in numerous organizations including the American Association of Women Podiatrists, the Florida Podiatric Medical Association, and she currently serves on the physician exam committee of the American Board of Wound Management.

Dr. Miles specializes in all aspects of general foot, ankle and wound care including both surgical and nonsurgical treatments. She is committed to providing the highest quality care to her patients. She has been in private practice since 1998.
